What's better than some Sunday afternoon jazz? Join us under the Big Tent immediately following the parade for two hours of swinging fun with the NorthStar Big Band!

North Star Big Band is a 19 piece big band providing swing dance entertainment for events for benefits, galas, social functions, community events, church festivals, weddings, and private parties. The talented musicians of the NorthStar Big Band have been entertaining audiences across the Twin Cities for over 25 years.  Our music includes Swing (from Early Swing of teh 1920's, the Swingin' Pop of the 50's, the Big Band Orchestras of the 60's, to the recent Swing Pop of the 2000's.), Latin (Samba, Cha-Cha, Bossa Nova,) Blues Swing, Ballads, and even some Polkas!
